I have so many memories. Just like everyone else I loved
my time there. I went back to Penang from 1978-1980, where my son Stuart was born.
We lived in Jalan Gajah then and were just down the road from Alison MacDonald's
parents, they were our neighbours in Jalan Azyze in 1968. When we left Penang
the second time I went to live in Wagga where I met up with Alan Davies, he is
a chef and I know he and his family moved to Port Macquarie to live in 1985.
I have great memories of hurtling down Penang Road in a trishaw with Milton and Larry, being chased by a shopkeeper. I had the temerity to tell a US soldier he was being ripped off! They were great times and we were so carefree.
