Hi,
My friend Alison
Dickie (who was also in Malaysia) alerted me to the fact that there was a website
for ex students of the RAAF School. It was a great trip down memory lane. I am
now married to Eddie Mesah ( a musician) and we have twin boys Dakota and Jesse
who are now 7 years of age.
My favourite recollections of the School
were Fridays when we had our favourite electives all morning and then sport all
afternoon. I have also been hiking up to Scout Rock quite alot. I remember once,
Cheryl Richards and I climbed down the face of Scout Rock. This was a very stupid
mistake, as the paint from the emblem was very slippery and we nearly fell off.
Learnt our lesson though.
I was a member of the Dolphins Swimming Club.
I also played Basketball for the team the Phantoms, with people like Cathy Jacobs,
Helen Shearer, Tracey Cooper and Helen Coops.
The school social was a
blast. I remember being on the bus to go home, and all the boys chucking brown
eyes with their behinds pressed against the window of the bus. I wonder how many
of them remember this?
It would be great to catch up with people I knew up
there so please feel free to contact me by email.
I would also like to
know if there will ever be a reunion held in Perth or if there are people interested
maybe we can go about organizing one.
