It is fitting that there is a website created for the wonderful years spent in Penang.
I was at RSP when it closed and subsequently went to St Christophers, a place
where they couldn't quite understand why the Australian kids were so rowdy
& wouldn't behave like all the other kids.
The memories are many, Movies at Aussie house, the Vale of Tempe, riding our
bikes in the quarry out the back of the vale. Sugar roti man, Don the sweet
man, the lady with the donut & curry puff cart & her cry "Dooooonnuuut,
Cuuuurrry Puufff" Hash house horrors & beating the Butterworth kids
in soccer, Go Bulldogs! Fireworks by the truckload, Billy cart races &
the smell from the pig farm when the wind blew the wrong way, super komtar,
the orchid, the le run, videos from Pernama.
A seriously great experience that broadened many a horizon.
