Even though it is over thirty year since I lived in Malaysia, I still carry such wonderful memories of the sights, sounds, smells, people and everything else that made it so different from what I knew beforehand. Like all of us I had some really terrific friends at school but of course being a RAAF kid we moved and those friendships were broken. However, they are still there permanently etched in my memory.

I am a school Principal (Mr Boyle would be proud) in Cairns, and will retire in just over two years. I am married with three children and have enjoyed a fulfilling life that was very much shaped by my Penang experiences. I have lived in Queensland for the past 28 years enjoying the tropical heat! It would be wonderful to hear from any of my contemporaries.
