A Sabre having returned to Butterworth from Ubon, Thailand, for the last time. The American Airforce humorously decorated the plane by placing stickers all over it.

77 Squadron

Following the acquisition of Avon-Sabre aircraft in 1956 the squadron departed Australia for Butterworth, returning to Australia in 1969.

This is what a Mirage pilot would see from his cockpit whilst doing circuits and bumps from the airfield. Tan Sai Gin and Robina Park were also in the flight path.
